Thanks for being part of Verdent! Here's a quick guide to our subscription and credits system:

Fast Start: Verdent automatically runs your tasks on premium models (with Claude 4 Sonnet and GPT-5). Both subscription plans and top-up credits use the same premium models. You will be able to select models manually soon.

Credits Calculation: Credits are calculated based on API usage across different models. Each subscription plan includes a first-month bonus to provide extra credits at the start. Since premium models use more resources, credits are spent faster, but you will get premium results as well.

Best Value: With a subscription, credits cost less than top-up credits.

Activation: Your subscription starts immediately after purchase. Credits refresh monthly according to your billing cycle (via Stripe), and you will receive a confirmation email once activated.

Credit Tracking: You can check your credit balance in the user center and view detailed usage in your dashboard.

Cancellation: You can cancel anytime via Stripe. Your credits remain valid until the end of the current billing period. Stripe will stop future charges, and no new credits will be issued. A cancellation confirmation email will be sent.

Note: You cannot subscribe to the same plan more than once.

Upgrade Anytime: You can upgrade to a higher plan at anytime. You'll only pay the price difference.

Credits & Bonuses: Your unused credits remain, and any first-month bonus (if still active) continues with the upgraded plan.

Seamless Transition: After upgrading, your old subscription is automatically canceled, and your new subscription starts immediately. Credits and plan details update in your dashboard in real time.

One-time Purchase: Top-up credits take effect immediately based on your purchase. You'll get a confirmation email right away.

Unused Credits: Any unused credits stay in your account and are applied after subscription credits. Purchased credits never expire.

Stacking: Credits can be purchased repeatedly and will accumulate in your account.

Credit Exhausted: Once your credits are used up, access will pause. You can recharge or upgrade anytime via the pricing links.

Multi-device Sync: Credits are synchronized in real time across all devices, including Verdent for VS Code and Verdent. If credits run out, access will be paused on all devices.

After Cancellation: After canceling, you can still see your current plan, remaining credits, and the service expiration date for the period you've already paid for will still be visible. You will receive a service-expiration email.
